Commonly Grounded
I was drawn to the theme of self medicating as a means of coping and the brokenness of each character in this touching drama. The director Wendy and I had several discussions about how each world would feel before their lives finally intersect, and how that would affect the ending. Beautiful production design by Amy Hoang further enhanced their visual worlds.
